CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from
exploding battery. Do not charge a battery if
the battery is frozen or it may explode. Warm
battery to 16°C (60°F). Disconnect battery
ground (—) clamp before you charge batteries
in the machine to prevent damage to electrical
components.
IMPORTANT: Do not use a battery charger as a
booster if a battery has a 1.150 specific
gravity reading or lower. Turn off
charger before connecting or
disconnecting it.
A battery charger may be used as a booster to start
engine.

REPLACING BATTERIES
Your machine is equipped with a negative ground
electrical system. It uses one or two 12-volt batteries. If
one of the two batteries fails, both batteries must be
replaced. Use only batteries meeting following
specifications.
