milling of the hardwood logs to the specialized staining

process, everything about Metropolitan Living celebrates

the wood’s inherent beauty, so every board in the floor is

unique.

Metropolitan Living is sawn to reveal more of the oak’s

natural and distinctive character as often found in fine

Craftsman furniture. The planks are then wire brushed for

a subtly distressed appearance, and the ultra-low-gloss

hides scuffs and prevents day-

to-day grit and grime from building up for easy

maintenance.

Metropolitan Living's soft and highly desirable hues are

achieved with our Natural Alchemy, a process which

reacts with the hardwood’s natural tannins to produce

wildly varying colors. This process highlights the wood’s

own characteristics, so no two boards look the same.

Made in America, the 7” planks come up to 7’ long, built

with our patented Enhanced Engineered Construction
