Rigid Vinyl Plank ooring comes with a Lifetime Limited Residential Warranty and a 10 Year Limited Light Commercial Warranty. This warranty covers
defects in material and/or workmanship that relate to joint integrity, manufacturing defects, staining, waterproong, and wear in accordance with the terms of
this warranty and during the useful life of the product.

Limited Warranties
Joint Integrity Warranty
Ensures that during the period of the warranty, the Uniclic brand locking system contained in Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring will not fail.
Manufacturing Defect Warranty
Ensures that during the period of the warranty, Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank ooring will be free from manufacturing defects.
Staining Warranty
Ensures that during the period of the warranty, Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank ooring will resist staining. “Stain resistance” is the ability of your Rigid Vinyl Plank
ooring to resist permanent stains.
Waterproof Warranty
Ensures that your oor will be 100% waterproof and the structural integrity of the oor will not be signicantly diminished by exposure to water

Ensures your oor will resist wearing through the wear layer and disrupt the decorative layer under normal conditions

* Waterproof warranty applies to the Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank product itself and does not extend to damage of the suboor or adhesives. The warranty refers to topical moisture or
topical water exposure. It does not cover moisture or water coming from below/underneath the product, and does not cover ooding or intentional damage or misuse.
† Wearing-through is dened as complete loss of the wear layer so that the printed pattern or design is altered. Gloss reduction is not considered wear and is not covered by this warranty.
Obligations of Owner
1. Owner must submit notice of all claims under these warranties to the retailer within the specied warranty period. Claims must be submitted in writing. The
original owner agrees to provide proof of purchase and compliance with recommended installation and maintenance procedures when a claim is led.
2. These warranties apply only to the original owner and the rst installation of the product and are non-transferable. The “original owner” is the person stated
as the buyer on the purchase document(s).
General Terms and Exclusions for Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank ooring
1. These warranties apply to Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring when installed and maintained in accordance with our most recent installation and
maintenance procedures. Mohawk will not be responsible for damages caused by a failure to follow instructions or recommendations. For the most up-to-
date procedures, please visit www.mohawkooring.com.
2. Mohawk will, at its option, repair or replace product not meeting the above listed warranties. When replacement of the ooring is made, only new
material from the current product range at the time of the claim will be supplied by the distributor or retailer. There will be no other form of compensation.
Mohawk’s responsibility under these warranties only applies to hidden defects that were not visible before or during the installation of the Mohawk Rigid
Vinyl Plank Floor. Material installed with visible defects is considered accepted by the owner.
3. These warranties do not apply to Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring that has been subject to abnormal use or conditions or abused in any way. “Abnormal
use or conditions” includes but is not limited to damage from plumbing or appliance leaks, storm, or ood; damage from smoke, re, or other casualty
events; damage caused by negligence or improper alterations of the original manufactured product. “Abuse” is any use of the ooring that is unreasonable
considering the normal and expected uses of Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring in a residential or light commercial environment. The feet of furniture
must always be covered with appropriate protective material. Chairs, sofas, or furniture with casters must be tted with soft rubber wheels and placed on an
adequate protective mat or be placed in protective caster cups.

4. These warranties apply only to rst quality Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring purchases. Mohawk warrants that rst quality products will perform as
warranted for the stated warranty period when installed in accordance with Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank Installation Guide over approved substrates and
underlayments and using the recommended adhesives and seam bonds/sealers. Mohawk will not be responsible for any damage caused by a failure to
follow recommendations and instructions. The warranty period, when valid, begins on the date of the original installation.
5. The waterproof warranty excludes damage to furniture, xtures, walls, suboors, moldings, trims, underlayments, radiant heating elements, or anything not
related to Mohawk Rigid Vinyl Plank. Also, any damage resulting from mold and mildew growth is not covered under these warranties.
