INSTALLATION GUIDE
The following information is for the tile installation overview process. It is not a step-by-
step instruction, each installation will vary depending on the materials and design.
Please follow the instructions provided by the manufacturers.
SURFACE
The installation surface should be clean, sound, solid, and flat.
LAYOUT
Plan the layout of the tile you purchase and the placement on the wall/floor before
installation to minimize cuts to your tiles.
CUTTING
Use a tile cutter, tile nippers, or a wet saw with a diamond blade to cut through the tiles
if needed. Wearing protective gear is a must.
THIN-SET
Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to select the correct type of
adhesive. A white thin-set is recommended. Use the notched trowel to apply the thin-
set and Use spacers to create a uniform grout line.
GROUT
Recommended use non-sanded grout for all kinds of mosaic tile and glass tile. However,
Sanded grout should be depending on the tile you are installing. Natural stone should be
sealed with a high-quality sealer after being grouted. Follow the instructions provided
by the grout/sealer manufacturer for the best results.
