Signal Postprocessing. A phase offset can be imposed between the digital generator
output signals and the digital audio reference input and output. The digital generator
can simulate the output signal attenuation effects of long cables. Clock jitter can be
added to the output signal to simulate system jitter effects.
Subframe Bit Control. The contents of the channel status and user data blocks can be
varied independently of the companion subframe.
Synchronization. The digital generator can use the clock present on the digital audio
reference input or output as its reference. This allows a constant sample relationship
between the digital generator and an external device.

On. Use the front panel On button to switch the audio generator output on or off.
When the generator is on the label above the button is back lighted.
NOTE. Each digital generator channel sends a continuous clock pulse regardless of
whether it is enabled or disabled or switched on or off at the front panel.
