NOTE. To use the list parameters to generate a frequency sweep, you must set Freq
Mode to List. To use the list parameters to generate a voltage sweep, you must set
Voltage Mode to List. Both must be set to List if you want the voltage and frequency
to sweep. If you want to use a fixed voltage level, set the Voltage Mode to Fixed and
set the amplitude you want to use in the Waveform Control amplitude editor.
List Editor. Start the List Editor from the Sweep Control display by touching the Edit
Generator Lists soft key (see the List Editor in Figure 4-8). Each generator has a list
that can be created for its use. At the top of the List Editor display, the generator list
being edited is shown. There can be as many as seven different lists: Analog A high
resolution, Analog B high resolution, Digital SF1, Digital SF2, Analog A and B
High Bandwidth (use a single list), and DSP A and DSP B.
With the List Editor you can configure each frequency, amplitude, and dwell
element of a list with the soft keys, control knob, or keypad. You can also add,
remove, or sort points in the list. As you add, edit, or remove points, the graphical
view (if selected) displays the points in the list on a frequency and level display.
NOTE. When the list is used to generate a multitone test signal, the level setting
for each tone is used only to provide the relative amplitude relationship between
the individual tones. The absolute value of each tone depends on the generator
amplitude setting for the peak value of the multitone test signal.
After specifying the points in the list touch the Accept Changes soft key to accept
the list and leave the List Editor.
