Regulation Mode Measurements
Like XY measurement mode, Regulation mode can be accessed when you press the
Configure button and touch the Measurement Setup soft key. Setting the Measure-
ment mode to Regulation mode displays the choices shown in Figure 4-16.
Regulation mode operation is a combined generator and analyzer system for
checking the quality of an external device. The analyzer takes charge of the
generator and drives it to produce a specified measurement result at the output of
the device under test. The parameter being checked is selected in the Quantity field
editor from a choice of Frequency, Level, THD, or THD + N.
