b. Set Sweep Count to 1.
c. Set Spacing to Logarithmic.
d. Set Points per Sweep to 24.
e. Set Voltage mode to Fixed (this makes the Voltage Start and Voltage Stop
choices unavailable).
f. Set Freq mode to Sweep. (A list can also be used in closed-loop testing.)
g. Set Freq Start to 15000 Hz. (Direct keypad entry is best for making these
types of changes.)
h. Set Freq Stop to 100 Hz.
5. Press Clear Menu to exit the Generator Control panel.
The following procedure describes how to connect the signal to the measurement
channel:
1. Connect the Analog Out A signal to the device to be tested. The type of cable
required depends on the device being tested, but XLR to XLR is the assumed
cable requirement.
2. Connect the output of the device to be tested to the Analog In A connector.
Again XLR to XLR is assumed.
3. Press the Configure button on the front panel and touch Input Selection.
a. Select the FP A (front panel A XLR connector) as the input source. Both A
and B are set to the front panel XLR connectors in most applications.
