The Input Select submenu also allows you to select input source: Analog High
Resolution, Analog High Bandwidth, or Digital Main. When Digital Main is
selected, applied digital signals are decoded and displayed as an analog audio
signal.
The Trigger submenu shown in Figure 4-54 contains the selections for setting up
trigger conditions and enabling the trigger. This menu displays the trigger controls.

Trigger Source. Trigger source selections are Channel 1, Channel 2, or External (the
external TTL input on the rear panel). When the applied signals are a stereo pair, the
selected channel trigger provides stable displays on both Scope channels while
retaining their phase difference information. If the applied signals are not a stereo
pair, a trigger based on the trigger level setting is separately produced for both
channels and phase difference information is not retained. The trigger point is
positioned in the data record at the 0 (zero) time vertical graticule in the horizontal
(x-axis) display. At the 48 kHz sampling rate, the waveform record of 1 second can
be positioned +1 and –1 sec with respect to the trigger point by changing the
horizontal position of the waveform.
