AM700 Audio Measurement Set User Manual
Figure 2-4: Views selection bar with only View 1 selected for display
When multiple view windows are displayed (including the RT and Generator Status
views), assigning the controls to a particular view is done by touching the screen in
that view. The touched view then becomes the active view and is indicated by a
brighter border around that view window as shown in Figure 2-5. Cursor controls
and the move/expand action are directed to the traces in the active view.
You can set each view to display a different measurement or combinations of
measurements. For example, in the Audio Analyzer, view 1 can be set to display
Channel 1 frequency versus Channel 1 level, view 2 can be of Channel 1 level
versus Channel 1 THD, view 3 can be of Channel 1 level versus Channel 2 level,
and view 4 can be of Channel 2 level versus Channel 2 THD. The choice of
measurement channel and measurement type assigned to an axis in the graphical
views is flexible. Refer to View Setup on page 3-7 for more information on setting
up the views and selecting the measurement traces for the views.
The AM700 offers several choices for displaying data in a view window. Where
applicable, the following display types are possible.
H Point-to-point plots of measurement results (traces)
H Traditional Y-Axis versus X-Axis waveform display
H Table of data (updating as new data is acquired)
H Spectrogram
H Eye diagram
H Histogram
