Pressing and releasing the On button turns sound on to the headphones. When Sound
is on, the AM700 stops making measurements.
Pressing and holding the On button displays the Sound source menu where you can
select either Digital or Analog as the source to listen to with the headphones.
The Volume control knob adjust the sound level at the headphone jack. Full volume
supplies a minimum of 20 mW to the headphones.
When sound is on, signals that produce audio are available for listening at this
standard stereo connector. Turning the volume control adjusts the sound level.
Headphone impedances of 8 to 2000 Ohms can be used (a low-valued series
resistance prevents overloading if low-impedance headphones are used).
