Getting Ready to Free Your Music
Connecting the Power
IMPORTANT: Please follow the following instructions in sequence.
Connect the mains lead to the back of the S200, connect to wall
socket and where applicable turn on.
Turning on for the First Time
When turning on from standby for the rst time (or after an
update), the S200 will go through an initial boot up procedure.
whereas the LED will ash blue rapidly and, because it is not
connected to a network yet, it will go into Aux mode by default.
AirPlay Direct
To Free Your Music before even connecting the S200 to a wireless
network, or if you don’t have a wireless router then use the S200
in AirPlay Direct mode to enjoy the freedom of wireless music
right out of the box.
AirPlay Direct means you can stream from your compatible iOS
Device, PC or Mac straight to the S200 without the need for a
wireless network/ router. To Free Your Music and activate this
mode creating a wireless network solely between the S200 and
the iOS-device, follow the steps below:
1. Turn on the S200 on from standby.
2. Press the Airplay button on the side of the S200 (button 5 as
illistrated on page 3).
3. The LED on the front of the unit will ash purple and then
solid purple.
4. On the iOS device go to the ‘Settings’ app and then into
‘Wireless’. Here you will be able to see ‘AIRSTREAM_S20...’
listen under the available wireless networks, select this.
5. A tick will appear next to the Wi Network on the
ipod display and your ready to free your music!
