To turn off the cooling system in either the freezer or fresh food unit, press the plus (+) pad until the display shows OFF. To turn the cooling system on, press the minus (–) pad. The preset temperature of 0°F for the freezer or 37°F for the fresh food unit will appear in the display.
AUTOMATIC ICEMAKER WARNING Connect to potable water supply only. A cold water supply is required for automatic icemaker operation. WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE Water filter cartridge Installing the filter cartridge The water filter cartridge is located behind the top access panel. 1. Fill the replacement cartridge with water from the tap to allow for better flow immediately after installation. When to replace the filter on models with a replacement indicator light 2. Line up the arrow on the cartridge and the cartridge holder. Place the top of the new cartridge up inside the holder. Do not push it up into the Cartridge holder.
STORAGE DRAWERS REFRIGERATOR— SEALED SNACK PANS The sealed snack pans retain high humidity for the convenient storage of lunch meats and cheese, hors d’oeuvres, spreads and snacks. To remove a snack pan, pull the pan out and lift the front of the pan up until it snaps out of the wire holder. To remove the upper drawers when the door cannot be opened fully, the shelf above the drawers must be removed. Push the shelf back, then lift up. Tilt the cover and take it out.
SHELVES DRAWER REMOVAL Drawers in the refrigerator/freezer will stop before coming all the way out, to help prevent contents from spilling onto floor. To remove a drawer, pull the drawer out and lift the front of the drawer up and out of the wire holder. Lift the back of the drawer up and out. To replace a drawer, place the back of the drawer in the wire holder, making sure the extensions of the side of the drawer fit into the back of the wire holder. Lower the front of the drawer into the wire holder.
CARE AND CLEANING CLEANING OUTSIDE The dispenser spill shelf and the area beneath it should be cleaned periodically with a mild liquid dish detergent. Dispenser cradle—Before cleaning, lock the dispenser by touching LOCK for 3 seconds to prevent activating the dispenser. Clean with warm water and a mild liquid dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry. Unlock the dispenser by touching LOCK for 3 seconds.
CARE AND CLEANING PREPARING FOR VACATION Set the icemaker power switch to the OFF position and be sure to shut off the water supply to the refrigerator. For long vacations or absences, remove food from the refrigerator/freezer. Set the control to OFF, and clean the interior with a baking soda solution of one tablespoon (15 ml) of baking soda to one quart (1 liter) of water. Leave the door open. For shorter vacations, remove perishable foods and leave controls at regular settings.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE REFRIGERATOR/ FREEZER DOES NOT OPERATE May be in defrost cycle when motor does not operate for about 45 minutes. Temperature control in the OFF position. TIROIRS DE RANGEMENT RÉFRIGÉRATEUR- TIROIRS DE COLLATION SCELLÉS Les tiroirs de collation scellés retiennent un degré d’humidité élevé pour la conservation pratique des viandes et des fromages de casse-croûte, des hors-d’œuvre, des tartinades et des collations. Pour retirer le tiroir à collation, tirez-le vers l’extérieur puis levez le devant jusqu’à ce qu’il se dégage du support en broche.
TABLETTES RETRAIT DES TIROIRS Les tiroirs du réfrigérateur/congélateur s’arrêteront avant d’être complètement sortis afin que leur contenu ne se répande sur le plancher. Pour retirer un tiroir, tirez-le vers l’extérieur et soulevez le devant vers le haut puis l’extérieur pour le dégager du support de broche. Soulevez ensuite l’arrière du tiroir puis sortez-le.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE NETTOYAGE DE L’EXTÉRIEUR La tablette antidébordement du distributeur et la zone en dessous doivent être nettoyées régulièrement à l’aide d’un détergent à vaisselle liquide doux. Berceau du distributeur— Avant le nettoyage, verrouillez le distributeur en touchant LOCK (verrouillage) durant 3 secondes afin d’empêcher l’activation du distributeur. Nettoyez à l’aide d’une solution d’eau chaude et de détergent à vaisselle liquide doux. Rincez à fond et séchez en essuyant.

Mettez la commande à OFF et nettoyez l’intérieur à l’aide d’une solution d’une cuillerée à table (15 ml) de bicarbonate de soude dans une pinte (1 litre) d’eau.

CAJONES DE ALMACENAMIENTO REFRIGERADOR – BANDEJAS DE REFRIGERIOS SELLADAS Las bandejas de refrigerios selladas retienen la humedad para un almacenamiento conveniente de carnes y quesos para el almuerzo, aperitivos, alimentos untables y refrigerios. Para retirar una bandeja de refrigerios, empuje la misma hacia afuera y levante su parte frontal hasta que se separe del soporte del cable.
REPISAS RETIRO DEL CAJÓN Los cajones del refrigerador/ freezer se detendrán antes de abrirse totalmente, a fin de evitar que se derramen contenidos en el piso. Para retirar un cajón, empuje el mismo hacia afuera y levante el frente hacia arriba y afuera del porta estantes de alambre. Levante la parte trasera del cajón hacia arriba y hacia afuera.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA LIMPIEZA EXTERNA La repisa anti derrames del dispensador y el área que se encuentra debajo de la misma deberán ser limpiadas de forma periódica con un detergente líquido suave para vajilla. Soporte del dispensador – Antes de limpiar, bloquee el dispensador presionando la función LOCK (Bloqueo) durante 3 segundos para evitar la activación del dispensador. Limpie el mismo con agua caliente y un detergente líquido suave para vajilla. Enjuague y seque totalmente.

Si estará de vacaciones o ausente por tiempo prolongado, retire la comida del refrigerador/ freezer. Mueva el control a la posición OFF (Apagado), y limpie el interior con una cuchara sopera (15 ml) de bicarbonato de sodio para un cuarto de galón (1 litro) de agua. Deje la puerta abierta.
