Fill Funnel
The fi ll funnel is mounted on the right side of the
tub. Its purpose is to provide a method of supplying
water for the wash and rinse cycles. The fi ll funnel
provides an air gap, which prevents wash water
from siphoning back into the water supply system if
the water pressure drops to less than atmospheric
pressure. The fi ll funnel also allows air into the tub
to permit airfl ow for dish drying.
Removal and Replacement
1. Fold back the insulation surrounding the fi ll
funnel assembly.
2. Open the dishwasher door.
3. Rotate the fi ll funnel cap counterclockwise and
remove it from the fi ll funnel threads.
4. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the fi ll funnel
hose from the fi ll funnel.
5. Remove the fi ll funnel from the dishwasher.
Note: Make sure that the clear plastic air tube
is looped around that part of the fi ll funnel that
protrudes into the dishwasher tub and mates with
the fi ll funnel cap.
