" If burner flames look like (A), call fl/r service. Normal burner flames
should look like (B) or (C), depending on the type of gas.
" If cooktop is connected to I.P gas, contact tile person who installed
your range or made tile conversion.
" When tile knob is at tile OFF position, it must be pushed in befl)re
it call be turned, and it can only be turned ill a cotmterclockwise
direction. Similarly, when the knob is in the L()W or X-HI
positions, it m ust also be pushed in to change flame settings.
* Tile light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace the bulb.
" Tile switch operating light is broken. Call fl)r se_wice.
* Tile (well controls are improperly set. See tile "How to set your oven
flw baking or roasting" section.
* Incorrect cookware or cookware of improper size being used.

* Use a fi)il tent to slow down browning during roasting.
* Tile oven control is not set at BROIl. Push in tile BRO]I_ selector

* Improper shelf position being used. See tile Broiling Guide.
* Cookware is not suited flw broiling. Use tile broiling pan and grid
that came with your range.
* Ahmfinum fl)il used on the broiling pan and grid has not been fitted
properly and slit as recommended.
OI51 SOl//e areas tile power (voltage) may be low. Preheat the broil
element fl)r 10 minutes. Broil fl)r tile hmgest period of time
recommended in the Broiling Guide.
