IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS USE OF EXTENSION CORDS Because of potential safety hazards under certain conditions, we strongly recommend against the use of an extension cord. However, if you must use an extension cord, it is absolutely necessary that it be a UL-listed, 3-wire grounding type appliance extension cord having a grounding type plug and outlet and that the electrical rating of the cord be 15 amperes (minimum) and 120 volts.
Controls and Features Wine Chiller Remove packaging Before using, be sure all packing materials and tape have been removed. If you are discarding an old refrigerator, remove the doors to reduce the danger of children being trapped inside. Temperature control The temperature range of the wine chiller is from the low forties to the mid sixties. Temperatures at the bottom of the cabinet will be cooler than temperatures at the top of the cabinet.
Operating Instructions Wine Chiller Insert wine bottles The top five drawers each hold eight bottles, two deep with the necks alternating front to back or nine bottles, alternating with necks pointing inward. The bottom two drawers hold six bottles each and are loaded with necks facing the rear. Tall bottles should not be loaded on the bottom drawer because they may prevent the door from closing.
Care and Cleaning Wine Chiller Unplug the wine chiller before cleaning. Condenser Be sure that nothing obstructs the required air flow openings in the front of the cabinet. For best performance, brush or vacuum lint and dirt from the condenser once a year. Remove the cover from the bottom rear of the wine chiller to access the condenser. Remove the three screws from the top of the cover and bend the sides of the cover slightly inward to release the tabs on each side of the cover.
Built-In Dimensions Wine Chiller Installation dimensions The wine chiller can be a free-standing model or can be built in using the cut-out dimensions below. When building in the wine chiller, be sure to allow for a full door swing so you have full access to the pull-out drawers. See the Installation Instructions (Pub. No. 49-60210) for complete directions.
Reversing the Door Swing Wine Chiller To reverse the door To remove the door: 1. Remove 2 screws holding toekick. 2. Remove hinge plug cover on top left side of cabinet. 3. Flatten the shipping carton to use as a pad for the door. 4. Remove the 3 screws holding the top case hinge. 5. Lift off case hinge, it will not be used again. 6. Lift door off bottom case hinge. 7. Remove bottom case hinge and cam riser. 8. Remove fill plug and screw on top right side of door. 9.
