STEP 6 INSTALL DOOR TRIMS (cont.)

Ŷ Without touching the exposed tape to the side of the

door, align the top of the trim

with the top of the door panel.

(tape backer should be sticking

out when aligning the trim).

Ŷ Once the trim is in

location (aligned to the top of

the door, hinge covers, tight

to the door and door panel),

then push on the exposed tape

area to secure. Slowly start

pulling the tape backer off and

pushing to adhere the tape

while keeping the trim in place

until you have completely

removed the tape backing.

Ŷ Secure the top and bottom

portions of the outer trim

after the inner trim has been

secured.

1. Gently pull the top of the outer trim away from the

door panel in order to expose the tape backer. Do not

bend too far away from the door or trim damage may

occur.

2. Peel the backer off the outer trim tape and press to

secure the trim.

3. Repeat for the bottom of the outer trim.

Ŷ Once the handle side door trim is in place, repeat the

same steps for the hinge side door trim.
