Installation Instructions - Reversing the Door Swing STEP 1 REMOVE UPPER ENCLOSURE Compartment Door WARNING Follow all steps when reversing the door swing. Failure to follow these instructions, leaving off parts, or overtightening screws, can lead to the door falling off and result in injury and property damage. Ŷ Open the front cover of the enclosure to 90°. Locate filter and filter removal tool. Filter should be as shown.
Installation Instructions - Reversing the Door Swing STEP 2 REMOVE DOOR Ŷ Open the door to the open position. Ŷ Remove the 2 T30 Torx screws securing the top hinge to the case. Ŷ Have a second person support the open door. Ŷ Place the door on a protected work surface (to prevent scratches), liner side down. Ŷ Remove 2 T30 Torx screws securing the bottom hinge to the case. NOTICE: Door hinges will remain in the open position during the door reversal procedure.

If the installation requires more than 84” height, the installer should elevate the unit on a sheet of plywood or runners. Cabinetry trim could also be added across the top of the opening to shorten the opening.

Remove screws and nuts to remove rectangular cover. Retain parts to build new top assembly. Ŷ Mount rectangular cover to bottom cover (removed during door reversal) utilizing the screws and nuts that were removed from top assembly. Be sure to align the edges during assembly.

For custom handle installation, counter-bore holes in rear of decorative panels must ensure 1/2” (1.27cm) material thickness remains for handle support. Ŷ Lay the template on the BACK of the panel, making sure to align the top edge (black line) of the template to the top edge of the panel. The template side edges should be aligned with the handle side of the panel. Secure the template to the panel so it does not move when marking hole locations.

After the panel has been adjusted to the desired position, secure the panel by first driving and tightening the vertical screws at the bottom of the door brackets and then drive and tighten the remaining horizontal screws. ALL 12 SET SCREWS should be driven and firmly tightened in order to properly secure the panel.
