Introduction:

Thank you for purchasing the Monoprice MCD-601M adjustable tilt/swivel flat panel display wall

mount. The MCD-601M is designed to be attractive, durable, easy to install and provide you with

years of reliable service. The mount is designed to be installed on to solid concrete or wood studded

walls. Please review this entire manual before beginning installation. If you are unsure about any

part of the installation process, please consult the advice of a professional installer.

Installation:

Step One:

Disassemble the mount - The Wall mount comes preassembled.

However, before you begin, you will need to detach the display

plate from the wall mount assembly to make installation easier.

Use a 5mm allen wrench to remove the two bolts securing the

display plate to the wall mount assembly.

Step Two: Mark Your Wall - If you are installing on to a wood stud wall, you will need to use a stud finder to locate the location of a stud in the wall. Mark your stud. Use a level to position the wall plate portion of the wall mount (part C) at the place on the wall you want to install the mount and make sure the plate is vertically straight. Holding the wall plate to the wall, use a pencil to mark the 3 points the mount will attach to the wall.

Step Five Attach the Display Mounting Plate to the Display - After having prepped your flat panel display by removing any table stands as instructed in the manual for your display, attach the display mounting plate to the back of your display. Use four machine screws provided by your display manufacturer to attach the plate to the back of the display.
