Chapter 1 Overview

1.1 Introduction

This product is an easy to use, do it yourself, 4/8-channel security system bundle.

Included in the bundle is a DVR and four infrared (IR) capable day/night video cameras.

The kit comes with everything you need to install and operate the security system

(optional hard drive for DVR not included). The DVR uses the latest SOC technology

and employs the H.264 video compression standard, with support for CIF, Half-D1, and

D1 resolutions. With a real-time network capability you can remotely monitor your

security system using your smartphone.

1.2 Packaging and Accessories

Following parts are included in the package:

• 4x Color Infrared Day/Night Cameras with ¼" Sharp 420TVL CCD

• 1x 4-channel H.264 DVR (optional hard drive not included)

• 4x 60-ft (18m) video extension cables

• 1x DC 12V/3A power adapter

• 1x 1-to-4 DC splitter cable

• 4x Camera mounting bracket

• 1x USB mouse

• 1x IR remote control with batteries

• 1x SATA hard drive data cable (installed in DVR)
