Tools Needed: 1/2” Wrench/Socket, Hammer
Before beginning assembly, please take a few moments to carefully read the instructions, familiarize yourself
with the components and understand each step of the process. Likewise, please ensure that the hardware package
contains the items as described below.
Parts List: (2) Headboard/Footboard Assemblies. Note: e headboard and footboard are interchangeable; each
has a built in ladder. e terms headboard and footboard are used for clarity purposes only.
(4) Side Rails, (2) Poly-Deck Mattress Supports
Hardware List: (32) 2 1/2” Lag Bolts, (32) Washers, (32) Lag Shield Inserts
Assembly Instructions:
Step 1. Layout all parts in a large, well lit area.
Step 2. Insert a lag shield insert into each of the 32 pre-drilled holes, using a hammer to tap them in until fully
ush with the wood. Be careful not to mar the wooden surface with the hammer.
Step 3. Place one washer onto each of the 2 1/2” lag bolts.
Step 4. Stand the headboard and footboard upright, separated by the distance of the included side rails. Support
them so that they do not fall over.
Step 5. With the help of an assistant, align the top hole in the mounting ange of the upper bunk poly-deck
mattress support with the h hole down from the top of the headboard post.
Step 6. Insert a 2 1/2” lag bolt and washer though the mounting ange and into the corresponding hole on the
headboard. Do not fully tighten bolt at this time as the poly-deck mattress support must be able to swing upward
allowing you to secure it to the opposite side.
Step 7. Insert a 2 1/2” lag bolt and washer through the mounting ange and into the corresponding hole on the
footboard. Again, do not tighten fully at this time.
Step 8. Swing the poly-deck mattress support upward toward the opposite side of the headboard/footboard
assemblies.
Step 9. Repeat steps 5, 6 & 7.
