FAQ

All log furniture is subject to the natural process of "checking". Checking or
cracking occurs when the wood releases moisture during the natural drying
process and often occurs across the
annual growth rings. Checking does not affect the structural performance
or integrity of the wood . The degree of checking will vary from product to
product and even from log to log. Small pinholes scattered throughout some
logs create additional contrast and beauty.
These characteristics add to the uniqueness of our furniture and lend it a
unique rustic appeal that is so very popular with rustic furniture owners. As
always, if you have questions or concerns about our log furniture please do
not hesitate to call or email us.
All Montana Woodworks products are covered by our 20-year limited war-
ranty and a 90-day, “no questions asked” return policy.
