Tools Needed: 1/2” Wrench/Socket, Hammer
Before beginning assembly, please take a few moments to carefully read the instructions, familiarize yourself
with the components and understand each step of the process. Likewise, please ensure that the hardware package
contains the items as described below.
Parts List: (1) Headboard, (1) Footboard, (2) Bottom Side Rails w/ Metal Slat Supports, (2) Upper Side Rails,
(3) Wooden Support Slats
Hardware List: (16) 2 1/2” Lag Bolts and Washers, (16) Lag Shield Inserts
Assembly Instructions:
Step 1. Layout parts in large well lit area. DO NOT THROW OUT THE THREE 1” x 4” SLATS!
Step 2. Insert a lag shield insert into each of the 16 pre-drilled holes of the headboard and footboard assemblies.
Using a hammer, tap each shield until ush with the surface of the log.
Step 3. Stand headboard and footboard assemblies upright with the holes containing the lag shield inserts facing
one another. Separate the headboard/footboard by the length of the included side rails to ease assembly process.
Step 4. Place one washer onto each of the 16 lag bolts.
Step 5. With one person holding the bottom side rail, the other inserts a lag bolt with washer through the slot on
the metal mounting ange, screwing it into the corresponding hole on the headboard. (e bottom side rail has
the full length “L” shaped steel slat supports attached)
Step 6. Repeat step 5 for the footboard and again until all 8 lag bolts are in place for the bottom side rails.
DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN AT THIS TIME
Step 7. Attach upper side rails using the same procedure, above.
Step 8. Place wooden mattress support slats onto metal “L” channel of bottom side rail and space evenly.
Step 9. Tighten all lag bolts fully at this time ensuring side rails are even side to side and not tipped in or out.
PLEASE NOTE: If you purchased your item “ready to nish” special care must be taken to properly apply a high
grade nal nish in a timely manner. Doing so will help protect your purchase from discoloration and damage
caused by exposure to ultra-violet light and/or weather. if the products intended use is outside, please use an
exterior rated nish to also protect from weather damage. See use and care instructions for further information.
Failure to adequately protect item by application and as needed, re-application of a nal nish may void warranty.
