1 2 ON 3 ON Mounting bracket OFF OFF Before you begin installing the fan, Switch power off at Service panel and lock service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. Use AC 120V/60HZ power supply only. 4 Before installing this fan make sure the outlet box is properly installed to the house structure.
7 8 9 Downrod Canopy Yoke cover Tab Yoke Set screws Keeper pin This side up Cross pin Blade Slot Downrod Slip downrod into motor housing yoke, aligning holes and install cross pin and keeper pin. Insert cross pin through yoke and downrod until point appears on the other side, and insert keeper pin on cross pin. Pull the downrod up tight against the cross pin, and then evenly tighten the downrod set screws on motor housing yoke. Place Yoke cover on motor assembly.
12 Mounting bracket 13 14 Canopy Plate on motor Loosen one and remove one preassembled screw from mounting bracket. Save screw. Lift canopy up, aligning its keyhole slot with the preassembled screw on mounting bracket and twist counterclockwise to lock in place. Reinstall the screw removed in step 12 and tighten all screws securely. Loosen 2 and remove 1 preassembled screw from the plate on motor. Save screw for later use.
18 Install LED Light Kit 20 19 Light pan Glass Light fixture Connect white wire from fan to white wire from light fixture and then connect blue wire from fan to blue wire from light fixture. Note: If you don’t want to install the fan with LED light, go to step 21 for blanking plate installation. 21 Attach LED light kit onto the light pan, aligning the keyhole slots on the LED light kit with the preassembled screws on the light pan. Twist clockwise till lock. Reinstall the screw removed in step 18.
REMOTE CONTROL SETTING and OPERATION Transmitter Operation Remove the battery cover from the remote control transmitter and install battery, battery provided. Replace the cover. Note: Use 2 1.5V/AAA battery. Note: If not using for long period of time, remove battery to prevent damage to remote transmitter, and store the remote transmitter away from excess heat or humidity.
The buttons on the remote control transmitter control the fan speed and light as follows. Fan speed 1 = high speed 2 = medium high speed 3 = medium speed 4 = medium low speed 5 = low speed 6 = minimum speed This button turns the fan off. Forward/Reverse button- This button is to control direction of fan rotation. Press once to change direction of the fan rotation. Fan must be running to reverse. Light button- Press this button to turn light on or off.
