1 Before you begin installing the fan, Switch power off at Service panel and lock service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. 4 Loosen 2 screws on yoke to allow down rod to slip into yoke. 7 Place canopy bottom cap over downrod and then place yoke cover over downrod as shown.
10 11 12 Install keeper pin. Tighten the 2 set screws on the yoke, once the down rod is in place. Loosen one and remove one preassembled screws from mounting bracket. Save screw for later use. 13 14 Safety cable installation 15 Supply circuit Safety cable Lag screw Lag screw Safety cable Washer Lock washer Connect black and blue wire from fan to Black or (Hot) wire from house. Connect White wire from Fan to White (Neutral) wire from house.
19 20 Place blade bracket onto the front side of blade by aligning the 3 holes on blade as shown. Install blade bracket with blade by 3 blade screws provided. Tighten securely. Repeat this process for remaining blades. Note: Make sure the side with a label “This side up” is installed upward. 22 23 Loosen 2 and remove 1 preassembled screws from the plate on motor. Save screw for later use. 21 Shipping stabilizer Check motor for shipping stabilizers and remove if present.
28 Install switch housing cover with the screws removed in step 26.
