Installation Guide

If your light kit has a cap like this

you will need to follow these

instructions to extend the pipe so

the MC83 or MC97 cap kit can be

installed.

Install coupler included with the

cap kit to existing threaded pipe on

the light fitter.

Install the short threaded pipe into

the coupler. The coupler can be

adjusted if it extends too far to

install the Cap.

MC83 thread pull chains through

holes in cap. For MC97 cut pull

chains short so only 2 ball appear

beyond the treaded pipe.

Install cap nut. For MC97 this nut

will be closed. For MC83 the pull

chain must pass through for light

control.

Note: If your light kit’s bowl cap is the same depth as MC83 or MC97 you

can skip to the steps below.

MC83/97 Instructions D'Installation Si votre kit léger a un chapeau comme ceci que vous devrez suivre ces instructions de prolonger la pipe ainsi le kit du chapeau MC83 ou MC97 peut être installé. Installez le coupleur inclus avec le kit de chapeau dans la pipe filetée existante sur le assembleur léger. Installez la pipe filetée courte sur le coupleur. Le coupleur peut être ajusté s'il se prolonge trop loin pour installer le chapeau.
