Attaching the mounting unit to the

junction box

Making the electrical connections

 Connect the copper wire on the light ﬁxture (A) to the

mounting unit (AA) by securing it with the pre-installed

ground screw.

 Connect the black to black wire (power), the white to

white wire (neutral), and the copper wire to the ground wire

with wire nuts (CC) and secure with electrical tape

(not included).

NOTE: If the wires from the ﬁxture are the same color,

attach the side with markings or letters to the black

(positive) wire and the other to the white (neutral) wire.

 Attach the mounting unit (AA) to the junction box (not

included) with mounting screws (BB).

NOTE: The pre-installed support screwson the

mounting bracket (AA) should protrude outaway

from the junction box.

Securing the canopy to the junction box

 Secure the canopy of the light ﬁxture (A) to the junction

box by placing the holes in the canopy over the support

screws on the mounting unit (AA). Secure with the cap

nuts (DD) as shown.

Installing the light bulb

 Secure the glass shade (B) to the light ﬁxture (A) using the

screws with cap nuts (EE).

 Install one medium base 60-watt max bulb (not included)
