2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Emergency Overview:
Appearance and Odor: White liquid with mild odor.
Warning Statements: Keep out of reach of children. CAUTION. Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate
eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing.
Potential Health Effects:
Likely Routes of Exposure: Inhalation, eye and skin contact.
Eye Contact: Causes moderate eye irritation. May cause irritation, redness, tearing.
Skin Contact: Slightly toxic and moderately irritating based on toxicity studies. Overexposure by skin
absorption to bifenthrin may occasionally produce skin sensations such as rashes, numbing, burning or
tingling. These skin sensations are reversible and usually subside within 12 hours.
Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. The solvent component, if aspirated into the respiratory system during
ingestion or vomiting may cause chemical pneumonia and lung damage
Inhalation: Low inhalation toxicity based on toxicity studies. Overexposure to the solvent component may
cause irritation to respiratory tract.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Inhalation of product may aggravate existing chronic
respiratory problems such as asthma, emphysema or bronchitis. Skin contact may aggravate existing
skin disease.

Potential Environmental Effects:
This product is extremely toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. This product is highly toxic to bees
exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops and weeds. Do not allow this product to drift to
blooming crops if bees are visiting the treatment area.
