Log 'D'
Cautions:
■ If logs are not placed properly, excessive sooting
will result.
■ The surface of the logs will crack due to the heat from the
ames.Thisisanormaloccurrence.
Installing the Log Set
Installing the Logs:
The HW42DF issuppliedwithveceramicbrelogs.Unpackthelogs
and handle them very carefully.

AllceramicbreLogshavebeendesignedtoenablequickandeasy
placement. Please follow the instruction below.
1. Place & Align the Rear Log as shown above in figure 29b, 29c.
2. Locate the retaining bracket as shown, slide bracket behind Rear
Log retaining plate as shown in figure 29d. Fasten bracket to log
as shown in figure 29e, (use supplied hardware).

3. Place front Left log (Log B) and front right log (Log C) as shown
in figure 29f. Place Log C knot hole as shown.
4. Place the Long front Left log (Log D) as shown in figure 29g.
