Welcome! Hello, friend! There’s a learning curve to printing with Palette+. Please pay attention to the setup instructions. They include tips and best practices to get you printing with Palette+ as quickly as possible and can save you headaches later.
Critical Warnings SERIOUSLY, THESE ONES ARE REALLY IMPORTANT 1 NEVER plug Palette+ into a computer (USB) while Palette+ is powered on. The only time you need to connect Palette+ with your computer is to update firmware. 2 Don’t touch Palette+’s hot tool when it’s hot. It hurts! 3 Palette+ is only compatible with 1.75mm filament. 4 5 Do not perform any maintenance on Palette+’s internal systems while Palette+ is powered on (or risk electrical shock or injury, and potentially damage to Palette+).

Splice Mode On Palette+’s screen, select “Splice Demo”. Select “Without Printer”.
Load PLA Filament 8 1 Select Demo-2c for 2 colors, Demo-3c for 3 colors, or Demo-4c for 4 colors. 2 Following instructions on Palette+, and load filament into drives. 3 Palette+ will heat up and begin to create splices.
Layered Print CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve created spliced filament! This filament can be fed into your printer and used on any model to create a layered print.

Best Practices • Maintenance: Clean your Palette+’s drive gears as needed (about as often as you clean your printer’s drive gears) • Ensure filament spools can unspool without too much force • For optimal performance, use filament from the same manufacturer – they tend to splice and stick together best! • Ensure printer and slicer settings are well-tuned for singlematerial prints before attempting Palette+ prints Resources & Help MULTI-MATERIAL: http://mm3d.
