FIRING
Discharging rearms in poorly ventilated areas, cleaning rearms, or handling
ammunition may result in exposure to lead and/or other substances known to
cause birth defects, reproductive harm, and/or other serious physical injury.
Have adequate ventilation at all times. Wash hands thoroughly after exposure.
With the shotgun pointed in a safe direction and held in the proper ring position, move the
safety to its “OFF” (FIRE) position. Pulling the trigger through its full travel to the rear, will re
the shotgun.
Should the shotshell fail to re, keep the shotgun pointed in a safe direction. Wait a
few moments and move the safety button to the “ON” (SAFE) position. Remove the
misred shotshell and segregate from other ammunition. Do not attempt to
rere a misred round.
If at any time during ring, the sound of any given round is noticeably louder or
softer than previous rounds red, STOP! Do not load or re additional rounds
until you have put safety in the “ON” (SAFE) position, then safely unload your
rearm and inspect it for possible damage or obstruction in the chamber or
bore. (The bore is the inside surface of the barrel.) Firing the shotgun with a
bore obstruction can cause damage to the rearm and may result in serious
personal injury to the shooter and/or others nearby.
CYCLING THE ACTION
To eject a shotshell case, pull the forearm completely rearward. The spent case or
unred shotshell will eject out of the receiver through the ejection port.
Be sure that all observers are clear of the path of ejection. Empty cases are
thrown out with signicant force and could cause injury.
