To turn Bluetooth power on or off at any time :
Find it: s > u Settings > Connections > Bluetooth
1 Press Options , then select Setup Bluetooth .
2 Select Bluetooth Power , then select On ,
Note: To extend battery life and maximize Bluetooth
security, use this procedure to set Bluetooth power to
Off when not in use. Your phone will not connect to
another device until you use a Bluetooth feature again,
or set Bluetooth power back to
On .
place phone in discoverable mode
Allow an unknown Bluetooth device to discover your
phone:
Find it: s > w Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Options
>
Discoverable: On 3 Minutes
The Bluetooth indicator & in the home screen flashes
when your phone is in discoverable mode.
pair with other device
Note: If you want to use your Motorola Bluetooth
headset with both an audio device and your
phone, use your phone’s Bluetooth menus to
connect the phone with the headset.
If you
establish the connection by pressing a button on the
headset, or if you allow the headset to connect
automatically by turning it on, you may experience
unexpected results.
Before you try to connect your phone to a
handsfree device for the first time
, make sure the
device is
on and ready in pairing or bonding mode
(see the device user’s guide). You can connect your
phone with only one device at a time.
Find it: s > u Settings > Connections > Bluetooth
1 Press Options and select Search For Device .
2 Select the device type: All , Headset . Computer , Phone ,
PDA , Printer .
