This capability does not apply to priority channels or the
designated transmit channel.
When the radio is locked onto the channel to be
deleted, or to NUIS and press the Menu Select
button directly below NUIS.
The radio continues scanning the remaining channels in
the list.
Restoring a Nuisance Channel
To restore the deleted nuisance channel, perform
one of the following actions:
• Stop and restart a scan.
• Mode change to another channel and back to the
original channel.
• Turn off the radio and then turn it on again.
Nuisance mode delete can be disabled by the
system administrator.
Changing Priorities Status While Scan
is On
While the radio is scanning, the dynamic priority change
feature allows you to temporarily change any channel in a
scan list (except for the Priority-One channel) to the
Priority-Two channel.
This change remains in effect until scan is turned off. Scan
then reverts to the preprogrammed (original) setting.

Press the Menu Select button directly below DYNP to
change the priority of a non-priority channel in the
scan list to Priority-Two.

Press
momentarily to exit the scan list and
resume scanning.
Restoring Priorities in a Scan List
To restore the original channel priorities in a scan
list, perform one of the following actions:
• Turn scan off, and then on.
• Change channels.
