Writing Text Messages
Follow the procedure to write text message on your radio.
1 Do one of the following:
• Press the programmed Text Message button.
Proceed to step 3.
• Press to access the menu.

A blinking cursor appears.
4 Use the keypad to type your message.
Press to move one space to the left.
Press or to move one space to the right.
Press
to delete any unwanted characters.
Long press to change text entry method.

Press once message is composed.
Do one of the following:
• Press to send the message.

among editing, deleting, or saving the message.
