Before using the earpiece, please ensure that you have set the volume at the lowest level by holding the "VOLUME DOWN" button while the device is on. Do NOT set the device at the highest two volume levels unless needed for high noise environments. To avoid possible injury to your hearing, YOU MUST REDUCE the volume level to the lower six volume steps.

However, the body tends to obstruct the signal, therefore the normal usage range is 6’ around your body. When the headset and adapter exceed the range of the wireless system, Mission Critical Device issues an alert sound, indicating that the wireless system is not operational. The link is automatically restored once the units are back within communication range.

As a result, our proprietary Mission Critical Wireless Device pairs within an inch of the radio, and that exchange is virtually undetectable beyond a few inches. Because of the close pairing proximity, you can be confident your accessory is connecting with your radio.

You can charge your device using the charger cable connected to a wall power outlet. Connect the small end of the charger cable to the micro-USB port on the bottom of the device. Plug the other end of the cable into a wall outlet. The following chart provides battery and charging status.

Ensure the earpiece portion of the Secure Wireless Device is plugged into the pod portion Secure Wireless Device. 3. Confirm the Blue LED on the device is flashing. 4. Place the blue dot (secure pairing spot) on the device within one inch of the blue dot (secure pairing spot) on the radio. 5.

In this case, the user must follow the procedure listed on page 11 to re-establish wireless connection. DARK MODE VOLUME INDICATORS The Mission Critical Wireless device has 8 loudness levels.
