Ring and Vibrate Features
Selecting a Reminder
Reminders are alerts that ring or vibrate to notify you about a voicemail or text message that you have
received, or a datebook event that you have scheduled. See “Set the Alarm” on page 39, and “Viewing
and Dismissing an Event Reminder” on page 42.
To set or turn off reminders:
Setting Ringer or Keypad Volume
You can adjust your phone’s ringer volume, and the volume level of the sound you hear when you press
a keypad key.
Find the Feature M > Settings > Ring/Vibrate > Alert Detail > Reminders

S scroll to the reminder alert you want: Beep, Vibrate, or Off
Beep
or Vibrate sets the corresponding reminder alert type. Off turns off
all reminders.
2 SELECT (+) select the reminder alert

S scroll to Ring Volume or Key Volume
2 * or # scroll to the desired volume setting
3 OK (+) confirm the new volume setting
