To remove the clip, use a flatbladed object to press the belt clip tab away from the radio. Then, slide the clip downward and away from the radio. If the power-up test is successful, you see the Home screen. Preparing Your Radio for Use Align the grooves of the belt clip with those of the radio and press upward until you hear a click.

Assignable Radio Functions Bluetooth On/Off – Allows you to turn on/off the Bluetooth.

Talkgroup (Conventional Only) – Allows a call from an individual radio to a group of radios. Text Messaging Service (TMS) – Selects the text messaging menu.

The display shows the volume level and bars to indicate the current level.

The keypad functions in a manner similar to a standard telephone keypad when entering numeric digits.
