Dialing a Phonebook Entry
To call a phonebook entry:
1. Press the PHONEBK softkey on any registered handset or the base unit.
2. Scroll to the name or use the keypad to press the first letter in the
contact’s name.
3. Press the
ON/FLASH or SPKRPHONE key to dial the number.
Editing a Phonebook Entry
To edit a phonebook entry:
1. Press the PHONEBK softkey on any registered handset or the base unit.
2. Scroll to the desired entry.
3. Press the OPTIONS softkey to edit the entry.
OR Press the VIEW softkey to change the dialing format by using the FORMAT
softkey (e.g., 1+area code+number, area code+number, or number only).
4. Scroll to and select
EDIT.
5. Scroll to and select
Name, Number, or Ringer.
6. Use the BACKSP softkey or DELETE key to edit the name and/or number.
Press CHANGE or use the scroll key to listen to and select a new ring tone.
7. Press the DONE softkey when you have finished making all of your changes.
