Series logic boards do not
have any soldered DRAM. At
least one DRAM DIMM must
be installed for the computer
to operate.
You can expand the memory
to a total of 768 MB using 5-
volt, 64-bit-wide, 168-pin
fast-paged mode or EDO
DIMMs.

VRAM Note: The Power Macintosh 9600
Series computers come standard with 4 MB
of VRAM on the video card (9600/300 and
9600/350 have 8 MB VRAM). There is no
VRAM soldered on the logic board and no
VRAM slots are on the logic board.

are NOT compatible with the Power
Macintosh 9600. This computer supports
+5V DIMMs only.
