4 Press select or OK. The test tone plays on the front-left speaker and the current setting
flashes. In the example,
0 dB flashes. The DCP501 begins to cycle through a speaker level
test by emitting a tone from each speaker in the following order for 4-seconds:
Speaker Location
LEFT
front channel left
CNTR
center channel
RIGHT
front channel right
R-SUR
surround right channel
L-SUR
surround left channel

dB icon turns on.
The current setting for the
FRONT LEFT speaker flashes for 4-seconds and the test tone
plays. In this example
0 dB flashes.

5 Press CURSOR left/right (<

>) to adjust the volume level for the front-left speaker. In the
example in step 6, the level was changed to
+3 dB.
