Connecting Your VCR
To connect your VCR to the DCP501, perform the following:
 Video connections
 Audio connections
Video Connections for Your VCR
Before connecting your VCR to the DCP501, you must determine which type of video connection
to use. The DCP501 features two types of video inputs and outputs: S-video and video (also
referred to as composite video). S-video is the highest quality video available on the DCP501. If
your VCR does not offer S-video, proceed to the Composite Video instructions that follow the
S-video Connections diagram
