Table B-4 lists the LED and OSD indications of whether the out-of-band control channel is
locked to the carrier (this indicator can falsely indicate locked):

Data Activity and EMM Data Activity Indicators
The LED EMM Data Activity indicator is lit when a message is present and the Data Activity
indicator shows receipt of a message. The OSD indicates with a *, that data has been received.
The indicators cover all packet processors regardless of which stream they are monitoring and
are cleared when you enter the diagnostic.
Table B-5 lists how the EMM data activity indicator shows when the DCT2000 is receiving a
message on the EMM stream:

The DCT2000 can receive only six PIDs at one time. Data on PIDs can be present on the
out-of-band multiplex that the DCT2000 is not receiving.
Selecting the OOB Frequency
To select the OOB Frequency go to 02 OOB STATUS diagnostic and begin:
1 Press the MENU button to enter the frequency selection mode. The frequency of the last
known carrier (LKC) displays on the LED. The OSD displays a new MANUAL FREQ line at
the bottom of the screen, indicating the LKC frequency.
2 Press the MENU key a second time to exit the frequency change mode.
Or
Press the UP/DOWN channel or cursor keys to scroll through the frequencies to locate the
desired OOB frequency. The frequency selection appears on the LED and on the MANUAL
FREQ line of the OSD. When you select the last known frequency, a DOT appears in the
upper-middle portion of the LED.
