1. Slide the radio with the battery attached into the cradle so that the
speaker grille faces outward and the controls are accessible.
2. Push the radio backwards until it locks into place.
The LED indicator at the front side of the cradle indicates the battery
charge status.

Make sure that the lock of the Vehicle Adapter is in
the open position before inserting or removing the
radio, otherwise the radio cannot be pushed back to
the correct position. The key should not be in the
lock while inserting or removing the radio to
prevent permanent damage to the cradle.

When using an external speaker, turn the volume
control fully counter clockwise to turn the radio
OFF, to avoid damage from high audio pressures.
