Conventional Phone Operation Feature
The conventional telephone feature allows you to use
your conventional radio similar to a standard telephone.
• To make a call, press the (Phone) button. The
display will show PH with the current conventional
system.
• In this mode, for every number entered from the
keypad including * and # buttons, the corresponding
DTMF tone will be sent.
• Type the relevant access code to enter the telephone
system. If the access is successful, you will hear dial
tone.
• Dial the required telephone number. Each digit is
sent on each key press.
• If the calling party answers, carry on with the
conversation in the usual way. Press the PTT to talk
and release the PTT to listen.
• When you have completed your conversation, or if the
number you have dialed is busy, or does not answer,
press the (Home) button to hang up.
