MOTOROLA Laptop Dock Use your phone just like a laptop with this QWERTY keyboard, gorgeous display, and rich WebTop experience. Plug in Note: Just like your phone, your laptop dock supports data-intensive apps and services. You can use a Wi-Fi connection when available. However, it is strongly recommended that you purchase a data plan for your phone that meets your needs. Contact your service provider for details.
Attach phone 1. Flip up the cradle. 2. Slide in phone. Note: Remove the adapter (fit plate) if you are using a ruggedized battery door or protective case on your phone.
Turn on After you attach the phone, just open the dock and you’re ready to go. Note: Your phone starts to charge when you attach it even if your dock is not plugged into a wall outlet. Battery Tip: When you close your dock, it turns off the display but continues to charge your phone. To save dock battery power when you’re not using it, remove your phone. Battery indicator (on back right) lights up when charging or flashes red when battery drops below 10%. Press to see the battery charge level.
Special keys & touchpad tips Calls: If you receive a call while your phone is in the dock, your phone automatically goes into speakerphone mode. You don’t need to lean toward your phone—your caller will hear you just fine. Airplane mode: On an airplane, you can close your wireless connections by choosing Airplane Mode in the WebTop phone display (or choose Airplane Mode on your phone before you plug it into the dock). For details, see your phone's help app.
