Before You Begin

This Owner’s Guide is designed to acquaint you with the features, care, and

installation of your MICOM-2ET-RDP (Rapid Deployment Package). This

Owner’s Guide includes all information pertaining only to the RDP suitcase and

installation.

A separate manual (MICOM-2E/2R ALE HF-SSB Transceiver Owner’s Guide,

publication number 68P02952C60-A) is supplied for the MICOM-2E radio,

providing a detailed description of the radio and its capabilities as well as step-

by-step procedures for all aspects of operation, programming and maintenance of

the radio.

Before you begin using the radio, we recommend that you read the following

chapters of the radio manual:

• Operating Instructions

Transceiver Owner’s Guide is not relevant to the MICOM-2ET-RDP.
