Using the Memory Card With Your Phone
To format a memory card:
From the main menu, select Settings >
Advanced > Memory Card > Format Card.
Removing the Memory Card
Important: Do not remove the memory card before
selecting the Remove Card option.
Removing the memory card before
selecting the Remove Card option
could result in loss of data.
1 From the main menu, select Settings >
Advanced > Memory Card > Remove Card.
2 Open the memory card slot cover.
3 Push the memory card to release it from the slot.
4 Pull out the memory card.
5 Close the memory card slot cover.
Note: If you select the Memory Card > Remove
Card option but do not remove the
memory card, you cannot use the memory
card until you remove it and insert it again.
Accessing Files on the Memory Card
Pictures, videos, and audio files stored on the
memory card are accessed using your phone's
media center.
MP3 audio files stored on the memory card can be
played using your phone's audio player.*
* Depending on your service provider, the audio player feature may
not be included with your phone.
