Hardware Preparation and Installation

Equipment Required
The following equipment is required to complete an MCPN750A system:
CompactPCI system enclosure
System console terminal
Operating system (and/or application software)
Disk drives (and/or other I/O) and controllers
Transition module (TMCPN710 or TM-PIMC-0001) and
connecting cables
MCPN750A baseboards are factory-configured for I/O handling via a
TMCPN710 or TM-PIMC-0001 transition module. There are currently
eight MCPN750A models corresponding to the five separate memory
configurations, two processor speeds and front or rear ethernet I/O. Either
one of the aforementioned transition modules support all models of the
baseboard. Refer to the subsections on the MCPN750A and transition
module installation for more information.
Note that the debugger initializes
the MCPN750A
