8 Getting started
1.1 Connecting the base
1. Plug the power adapter and the telephone line cord into the base. The
power adapter with the larger pin is for the charger (only in multi-handset
packs).
2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a power outlet and the
telephone line cord into a telephone wall jack. If you have DSL high speed
internet service, a DSL filter (not included) is required.
3. Use only the provided power adapter.
1.2 Connecting the charger
1. Plug the larger end of the power cable into a power wall socket not
controlled by a wall switch.
