When you enter text with Tap mode, the soft
key functions change.
tap mode text entry rules
• Press a key repeatedly to cycle through
its characters.
• Press S left or right to move the
flashing cursor to the left or right in a
text message.
• If you enter or edit information and do
not want to save the changes, press
P to exit without saving.
iTAP® mode
From a text entry screen, specify iTAP mode
by pressing
Abc , then selecting iTAP English or
iTAP Spanish
.
iTAP software provides a predictive text entry
method that lets you enter a word using one
key press per letter. This can be faster than
Tap mode, because your phone combines the
key presses into common words.
When you enter three or more characters in a
row, your phone may guess the rest of the
word. For example, if you enter
prog , you might
see:
